Serving Las Cruces with Open Arms Since 1990

Amador Health Center provides warm, welcoming, and unwavering care to our entire Las Cruces community, including dedicated support for our homeless, LGBTQ+, and immigrant populations.

Community care should never be conditional.

Here at Amador Health Center, we believe that every person has the right to be seen and treated, regardless of insurance coverage, criminal background, immigration status, sexual orientation, drug use, or ability to pay. By staying true to this core belief, our Las Cruces health center has enabled countless residents to find the care they need to build a stronger life. If you’re in need of medical care, behavioral health care, drug or alcohol recovery, or are just looking for a network of support, Amador Health Center’s doors are open to you.

Inclusive support

Multi-disciplinary care

Enduring connection

Our community health center’s “no person turned away” philosophy protects the homeless, LGBTQ+, immigrant, drug-dependent, and indigent communities.

Our health center offers comprehensive care for all, with medical care for all adults and children,  behavioral health services, telehealth psychiatry, and harm reduction care services.

With weekly events, long-term programs, and volunteer opportunities, our health center functions as both a care clinic and a community hub for all.

LEND A HAND

JOIN THE CAUSE

Our work would not be possible without the heroic volunteers who comprise our medical team, office, and board. Join the team to make a difference.

Amador Health Center’s community health center exists through the help of government grants and community donations. Give now to keep the wellness going.

New face, same mission

Amador Health Center is the new name and face of St. Luke’s Health Care Clinic, which had its humble beginnings in 1990 with Dr. Stanislaus Ting. From our initial origins, our dreams evolved to become the Mesilla Valley Community of Hope (MVCH) campus in 1994, with five non-profit centers, including our Las Cruces health center, calling it home. Today, we are Amador Health Center, a comprehensive community health center that welcomes all people, regardless of background or capability. We wouldn’t be us without you—thank you for the years of support and encouragement.

YOUR HEALTHCARE HOME

Our community health center tackles pediatric care, Medicaid enrollment, sports physicals, substance abuse, therapeutic counseling and diagnosis, recovery support, syringe exchange, HIV/Hep C testing, Acu detox, and more.

Medical Care

If your health needs are physical in nature, Amador’s clinical specialists are on standby for support.
